Rachel + John | Bragg-Mitchell Mansion Styled Wedding Mobile, AL

Updated: Jan 27, 2019

My wife and I have always felt inspired by the Beauty and The Beast story. There's something powerful about seeing the gold in someone and encouraging it to shine. In marriage, we learn to love each other even at our worst moments and that is something Belle excelled at. This story revolves around the fact that love conquers all and has the power to break curses. And of course we love the part about true love's kiss and happily ever after. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic. We wanted to play up the french theme using burgundy and gold as accents to create visual romance. The Bragg Mitchell Mansion in Mobile, AL was perfect with its historic charm and its surrounding gardens.

When we started planning this shoot we knew our friends John and Rachel would be a perfect fit. These are friends of ours, and the styled shoot just so happened to fall around their 4 year anniversary. Rachel is stunning with her long, dark hair and John has a sort of "modern beast" vibe with his tattoos and well groomed beard. Together, they have 3 gorgeous girls and a marriage that is rock solid.

We had a ton of fun working with all of these amazing vendors. I love the way we all contribute to make the magic happen they day of. Each vendor uses their own creative freedom and expertise to bring something truly beautiful. AND these people are my friends. Good people on the inside as well! Getting together and collaborating with like minded creatives is so refreshing.

Without further ado, here are the amazing pictures!!!
