Jason + Anna Kisor | The Imogene Theatre Wedding

Jason and Anna’s love just has a certain joy about it. The kind of love that just feels right because of their strong friendship. When my wife and I first sat down to meet and have coffee, they felt like old friends as we laughed and they shared their love story.

The wedding took place at The Imogene Theatre in Milton, FL. This venue was so unique with all kinds of history all within the antique brick walls. When I arrived to get prepared and start shooting the detail shots, I was greeting by Anna’s mother and aunt. They insisted I sit down and eat lunch with them first, you know in that motherly, “you need to eat” kind of way. Both families were so much fun!

Anna was a gorgeous bride and the whole day her face was beaming. While getting ready you could feel the excitement and expectation. She was radiant, and she hadn’t even had her hair done yet! As Jason and his buddies got ready, he admitted that he was nervous and had been looking forward to this day for a long time. As Anna walked down the aisle toward her groom, he wiped tears from his eyes. My wife tells me this is every girls dream - to be so beautiful on your wedding day that your husband cries happy tears. Just like Jason and Anna, the ceremony was fun and relaxed. They shared a first kiss as husband and wife and it was perfect.

After the first dances, I took Jason and Anna outside for their couple session. This is my favorite part of the day, because its when I can capture those lovey-dovey bride and groom moments. We were in Historical Downtown Milton and it had all the romantic vibes. There was a river with a beautiful dock and retro candy shop. Anna’s grandmother attended a church nearby and we got to take a few sentimental images in front of the stairs. It was a really sweet moment.

Then we partied! Happy Ever After to the Kisor’s!
