Candace + Levi | Nassau, Bahamas Wedding

What an amazing experience this wedding was! Candace and Levi are great. They are one of those couples that truly feel like old friends.

I first met Candace and Levi at their engagement session in Eden Gardens State Park. The garden setting was a perfect backdrop and you could tell they were filled with so much love for each other. It was a joy to photograph. Levi and I were cutting up and making Candace laugh the whole time, which made for great candid moments. We talked about how they met and what their wedding dreams were. One of the possibilities they were considering was to have a cruise wedding to the Bahamas! Of course I was in!

We talked about dates and worked out all the details and it was a go! Rachel, Rosie and I packed up and were ready to sail!

The ceremony was short but sweet with a handful of close friends and family, followed by cake and refreshments. The sunset session with the bride and groom took place on the top deck, and yes, it was super romantic. We definitely made a scene amidst all of the casual cruisers in board shorts and flip flops.

After a few days at sea we were coming into the port of The Bahamas early in the morning. The ship was sailing in fast and I saw this amazing lighthouse outside of our room's deck. I quickly grabbed my camera and snapped a picture! It ended up being one of my favorite detail shots I've ever taken!

Once on the shore Candace's aunt was able to sweet talk the Hilton's manager who let us use their private beach for their couples/trash the dress session. It was amazing with perfect colors and light. And of course they got into the crystal blue Bahama water!

It was truly an incredible experience and they were the perfect couple.
